Dinton held its third annual summer holiday cricket school last week and once again it was highly successful with 41 children attending across the four days.
The young cricketers were given coaching on all the skills of cricket - batting, bowling and fielding. The course also covered the importance of the Spirit of Cricket and how the game should be played. The older age group were also encouraged to think for themselves as during part of the sessions they were asked to design their own agility and fielding drills which their team-mates then took part in.
